What is Oscrent Mechanical Seal?
Headland Engineering represents the Oscrent Mechanical Seal which is a precision-engineered component, designed to provide a watetight seal in marine applications. Preventing water around the rotating shafts. Teh seal is specifically designed to accomodate axial and radial movement, as well as vibrations, making it suitable for use in environments where alignments and load conditions may vary. The mechanical seal operates by maintaining consistent contact between the flat faces of a rotating stainless stell rotor and a stationary carbon flange, effectively compensating for shaft movement caused by the propeller thrust.
